We are among the fortunate people whose power has been restored. Hopefully it will stay on. Much of the ice is still hanging on the branches and trees may not be able to take the added stress.
I felt so sorry for the tiny birds looking for good food after the storm. They had to navigate between and under the icicles to get to the feeders. You can just make out the little guy on the far right under the icicle umbrella that covered the bird feeder.

It's amazing something so dangerous can be so beautiful.
When I lived in the Northwest we had those kind of storms. They are so hard for everone. Poor little bird. Stay warm Ginger
WOW! These are magical. We don't have snow in LA, it's always a pleasure to see pictures from white winter land!!
Amazing how much ice covers everything, and how THick it looks...it's gorgeous in the photos, but hopefully it'll melt and you'll get some good snow (since you want it)
