woah wonderful artwork! i esp like the movements of the waves! and this kinda reminds me of moby dick.. but then again this is just a gigantic fish! which makes it all the more fun.. 8D
there is a really wonderfully reminiscent feel to this piece, ginger...like old golden books, or those fairytale collections. just lovely! and thank so much for the visit - i'm all ready for "ARRGGGGGH" day! froggie
Yes, the motion is great, it's all so splashy and wet seeming. And I agree with ms. froggie in that it is reminiscent of fairy tales, I was thinking of the giant sea creature whose back looks like an island (of course he eats people and your whale doesn't seem hungry at least). It's a very nice piece, how did you get the swirlies? Also, thank you for the nice comment on my blog!
