ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY ~ FAST

I completed this illustration this week for part of a series I am working on. It seems to fit the subject rather nicely. Others in the series may pop up from time to time.

For some added fun, here are some of the MANY pumpkins on display at the Keene, NH pumpkin festival.

If you want to see more of the pumpkin festival (which is HUGE) go to Youtube.com and type in Keene NH Pumpkin Festival. You will be amazed at the THOUSANDS!!! of pumpkins on display.

Fantastic rendering of the (very difficult) skiing postures! Also of the feeling of speed. Now I need a nice hot cup of tea.

You do action scenes really well, Ginger! The perspective, the poses, they're just right!
I love the elephant (and his oufit!) And he's doing a better job skiing than I would! :-)

Thanks for the comments. Sadly as I used to ski like the boy in this illustration, I now ski more like the elephant. Well maybe a bit better if I go cross country.

About those pumpkins... if you look closely at the enlargement (click on pic) you will see some people spelled out messages and one poor pumpkin is losing his insides. There were two huge towers of these carved beauties. Quite a sight.

Excellent skiing picture Ginger. Seeing xmas trees in the shops in October doesn't make me feel Christmassy but this does.
