The BugCatchers



Now that I am happy with this version there is a point where I started...
and I still like this one. It has a simplicity that is perfect for some types of stories. But it evolved a bit to this one next....
and this one is fun too, but it needed something and I also wanted to get a closer view of the children... so that is the first image on the top.

The 2 kids...that is one of my new favorites (my favorite big your underwater elephant)!! I love what you did having the boy in the foreground and the butterfly actually coing out of the frame of the illo. It makes it so much more lively.

But again...I do also really like the style you did the liittl blond girl in because it reminds me of the original Winnie the Pook style drawings...which I love so much. So I do like that, too.

But hands down, the 2 kids together is one of your strongest illustrations, and I hope you get lots of work from it!!

wonderful...it's fun to see your thought process and the progression of the illustration....the final one with the 2 children is my favorite :)
