ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY ~ FAIL

This is a companion piece to something I started last week. It just so happens that the bears will be awake soon...and they will be hungry and maybe a bit grumpy too.

great depiction of our friend Mr. Bear....although he looks a little more tame and polite than the fellow who slashed his way into our screen porch !! YES...the bird feeders are already down....we're not messing with Mr. (or Mrs.) Bear again :D

Hungry bears sound scary!

I think the bear and fish know each other. At least the fish have that knowing look. Awesome story, characters, setting.

P.S. I was at the Arkansas conference. ??? Did really get a lot out of it.

What an above-average-intelligence kind of bear, using that pole! :) Cute illo and idea. He looks absolutely cuddly!

I'm sure there are times when those big ole bears wish they really could use a fishing pole!

Nice Ginger, very clever!

Beautiful, vivid colors and such an endearing character. I just love bears, and this one, with his sweet expression, longing for some fish, is so adorable. Great work on the vegetation, it looks and feels so real!

Great job layering. Walt Disney would have been proud that you managed to create a "milti-plane camera" effect all in one illo!!

Hee hee, that is one cute bear... and pretty dexterous too.

Yeah, I wouldn't want to cross a bear before he's had his first cup of coffee of the Spring.
