Work In Progress

My advice to others is always to draw every day, or night. This is the beginning of a work in progress that began as a late night sketch.
Although I do like it as it is, there is a lot to be done before I am satisfied with it. I like the line work and may leave a lot of that in the painting.©Ginger Nielson 2007

I'm glad you said that because I really love the line work and hope you'll leave it for the finished piece.
Lovely so far!

everyone looks SO content.....what a peaceful scene. I think the line drawing adds to the serenity.

Ginger, this is magical and dreamy! I do love it as it is, and I hope you leave some or all of the linework in the final piece as you mention. I've always loved the combination of very detailed work like the child with a sketchy background and other elements. I love the toys, the lion especially captured my heart...

And I came back to thank you for your last comment on my blog, that's so very kind of you. It meant a lot to me! :-)

I love to see work in progress,
Although this is beautifull as it is it'll be interesting to see what you do with it.
The slump of the teddybear is perfect.
