ILLUSTRATION FRIDAY ~ PEACE

From the title painting for 'PEACE DAY' a book I illustrated written by Bob Alan and Steve Diamond, here is Ming wishing for just One Day of peace. Just ONE....a day when no guns would fire, no lives would be lost to violence and the children of the world would enjoy the blessing of that day and all others they hoped could be like it.

This is great. As much as we should hope for peace, perhaps we should also work harder to make it happen.

Ginger- that is the great hope isnt!! Where all childen would be loved by their moms and dads, have full tummies and be tucked in to warm beds!! I guess we cant save the whole world-just try and make a difference in our own little corner!

This is lovely, and the thought is wonderful. If only... I love the bright colors and the pretty border. It really has a very bright and exotic feeling.

It's hard to believe it's the end of December and all I'm wearing is a cotton sweater and a down vest! I must admit that I love the mild weather and don't miss the snow, but I know it would be nice for everyone else to have a snowy Christmas. So...I hope it snows for you in NH and stays mild for me here! Happy Christmas and New Year, Ginger!
